Qualified candidates will join our Baton Rouge, Louisiana location and work fully in-office. There may be opportunities to relocate to other project locations throughout the US later on in their career.

 

Responsibilities

As a Training & Testing Coordintaor Coordinator, you will be a key part of FAST’s project implementation teams, ensuring  the quality and reliability of FAST’s software solutions and that end-users are fully prepared to use FAST’s software. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinate Training Programs: Plan and manage the overall training schedule, working closely with project teams to ensure that training needs are met on time. Coordinate logistics, including scheduling in person or virtual sessions and preparing training materials for delivery. 
  • Train-the-Trainer Approach: Equip client trainers with the knowledge and resources they need to deliver effective training. Guide them through the process, ensuring they are confident in training end-users on FAST’s software and systems.  
  • Create Training Materials: Develop a range of training materials tailored to specific user needs and various training delivery methods. This includes creating video and self-study training modules, job aids, user guides, help articles, and presentations. Ensure that materials are clear, concise, and accessible for diverse learning styles.  
  • Collaborate on Instructional Design: Work with subject matter experts and project teams to design training content that aligns with user workflows. Continuously review and update training programs to reflect new features and user feedback. 
  • Collaborate with Teams: Work in partnership with implementation teams, software developers, and clients to ensure the training content reflects the latest updates and is aligned with project objectives. Maintain communication with stakeholders throughout the training process.  
  • Plan and Schedule Testing Activities: Develop and oversee the testing schedule in coordination with project teams. Ensure that all testing phases are completed on time and aligned with the project timeline. 
  • Develop and Manage Test Scenarios: Collaborate with the project team and client subject matter experts to write comprehensive test scenarios that reflect user workflows and system interactions. Continuously review and update test cases to cover new updates or changes made by the development team. 
  • Coordinate and Train Testers: Lead and support the testing team, providing training on testing processes, tools, and best practices. Equip testers with the knowledge and resources needed for accurate and efficient testing.
  • Monitor and Report Testing Progress: Track testing activities, record testing metrics, and provide regular updates to project stakeholders. Identify potential issues early and work with project teams to implement corrective actions.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Adult Education, Instructional/Curriculum Design, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field (technical training or experience in other fields will be considered).

  • 3.0 minimum GPA.

  • Ability to absorb complex technical information and present it in an easy-to-understand format.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to adapt training programs based on feedback and performance metrics.

  • Personal qualities of integrity, professionalism, and enthusiasm to inspire learners.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to engage and collaborate with a range of professionals.

  • Confidence in managing projects, organizing tasks, and meeting deadlines, with a demonstrated ability to work in a professional setting.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially PowerPoint, Excel, and Word, for creating and managing training documents.
