We have expanded beyond Tax and now also perform implementations for Motor Vehicle, Driver License, Unemployment Insurance, and Child Support Engagement agencies.

Qualified candidates will begin their role on a client project site within the U.S. for approximately 6 months to 1 year, gaining hands-on experience with our software and working directly with our clients. Following this period, Technical Communicators will join the core team at our Centennial, CO headquarters, where the role is fully in-office.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a Technical Communicator to join our growing Knowledge Resources team. This role provides opportunities to apply a wide range of skills—writing, training development, instructional design, policy and procedure topics, and content strategy—across a variety of deliverables. Team members may specialize in certain areas or contribute across multiple project types depending on individual interests and business needs.

 

Content Development

  • Design, write, and maintain clear and user-friendly online help documentation, policy and procedure guides, and technical reference materials.
  • Create computer-based training (CBT) modules and multimedia learning content using adult learning principles.
  • Contribute articles and content to internal newsletters and communications.

Training & Employee Development

  • Develop internal employee training resources and courses focused on professional development and organizational knowledge.
  • Collaborate with project teams to build custom materials that support knowledge transfer and client onboarding.
  • Support internal training delivery by preparing content, facilitating sessions, and gathering feedback.

Collaboration & Communication

  • Conduct interviews and research to gather accurate technical and procedural information.
  • Work cross-functionally with technical, functional, and client-facing teams to ensure clarity, consistency, and accuracy in all materials.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of documentation standards and processes.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Technical Communication, English, Education, or a related field.
  • 0–5 years of relevant professional experience in technical writing, instructional design, corporate communications, or a related discipline.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to think critically and analytically while working on complex topics.
  • Clear, concise verbal communication skills across a variety of audiences.
  • Excellent listening and interviewing abilities, with the discernment to ask the right questions at the right time.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and capable of working independently and within a team.
