Responsibilities

As a Payroll Administrator II on the Finance team, you will assist with payroll processing for approximately 1,800 employees and report directly to the Payroll Manager. The ideal candidate would enjoy a fast-paced work environment and integrate well with a diverse, multi-national workforce. This position is located at our headquarters in Centennial, CO.  

 

As the Payroll Administrator II, you will perform a wide variety of record-keeping and payroll-processing activities, including: 

  • Accurate preparation, documentation, and reconcilitation of payroll
  • Administration of the payroll system
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of legislation affecting payroll
  • Tax filings and other reporting
  • Tax notice research and resolution
  • Coordinating payroll processing with outside service providers
  • Responding to and resolving timesheet, expense claim, and other payroll issues
  • Calculating gross-ups, imputed income, and deductions
  • Reviewing new hire information
  • Processing final payments for terminations
  • Evaluating processes and proposing automation/improvement

Qualifications

  • 2-4 years of professional experience in Payroll, Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field
  • Bachelor's degree
  • ADP WorkforceNow HRIS experience strongly preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suites; specifically, Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, etc.)
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to quickly adapt to changes in the work environment
  • Ability to prioritize competing demands and manage stressful situations with a professional disposition
  • Ability to work in a team environment independently
  • Respond appropriately to management direction and solicit feedback to improve performance
  • High level of interpersonal skills to handle confidential information and situations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
