Fast Enterprises is a provider of essential software and services for citizens and government. In 1998, we changed the way government revenue agencies support their business with the introduction of GenTax®. We have expanded beyond Tax and now also perform implementations for Motor Vehicle, Driver License, Unemployment Insurance, and Child Support Engagement agencies.

We are looking for a Staff Accountant to join our team at our Headquarters in Centennial, CO.

  • Maintain general ledger by reconciling accounts; create general journal adjusting entries as necessary to comply with GAAP and tax standards
  • Review monthly close procedures and processes
  • Maintain fixed asset records; assign depreciation methods and useful lives for Federal tax and GAAP purposes and enter data into fixed asset software
  • Create journal entries to record semimonthly payroll
  • Examine expense accounts for new accounting regulations and discrepancies
  • Maintain and record revenue entries
  • Assist in processing accounts payable
  • Assist in completing credit card reconciliations
  • Maintains accounting controls by following policies and procedures
  • Any other finance department duties assigned by supervisor


  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic understanding of GAAP and tax principles
  • Ability to use judgment and initiative in problem resolution
  • Detail-oriented analytical skills
  • Strong knowledge and experience working with Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to embrace change and be flexible to changing business needs
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
