As a Systems Administrator (Remote) you will be a key member of the Fast Hosting Services Team and will play an essential role in the support and management of systems to help ensure the reliability and dependability of the deployed FAST’s Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) solutions.
The ideal candidate will bring years of experience in various levels of increasing responsibility in supporting a windows domain environment as well as virtual desktops. A strong candidate will be familiar with Virtual Desktop Infrastructure, Microsoft Group Policy, and IT Service Management (ITSM) systems. Working independently and proactively to resolve emerging issues will be critical for success in this position.
To be effective the candidate will also have a basis of knowledge in modern IT Systems infrastructure namely VMWare’s Virtualization technologies, Windows Server Operating Systems, and SSO. Additionally, a diverse IT skill set along with a desire to learn new skills is desired. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must. Hours are flexible but expected to be somewhat similar to 3pm – 12am (midnight) Mountain Time. This position is not expected to participate in on-call rotation outside of normal operating hours. FAST is headquartered in Centennial, CO but this position will work as part of a remote team based in the United States.
